This page explains how content and tools on charactercounthub.com are created, checked and maintained. We publish it so you can judge for yourself whether the numbers on this site are worth trusting.
Who Creates Our Content
All tools and written content are produced by Muntaqim Raza. Nothing here is bought from a content mill, spun from another site, or published without a human reading it first.
How We Verify Character Limits
Every character limit we publish is checked against the platform’s own help documentation or developer documentation before it goes live. Where official documentation is unclear or missing, we test the limit directly on the live platform and say in the guide that the figure comes from our own testing.
We do not copy limits from other blogs. A number that has been passed between websites for three years is often a number that stopped being true two years ago.
How We Build and Test Tools
Each tool is written in plain JavaScript and runs entirely in your browser. Before publishing, every counter is tested against:
- Plain English text of known length
- Emoji, including multi-part emoji such as flags and skin-tone variants
- Line breaks and multiple consecutive spaces
- Non-Latin characters, including Arabic, Urdu, Chinese and Cyrillic
- The real platform, to confirm our number matches what it accepts
If our count disagrees with the platform, the platform is right and we fix the tool.
How Often We Update
Social platforms change limits without announcement. We re-check the limits in our main tools periodically and whenever a reader reports a difference. When a page is updated, the date shown on the page changes to reflect it.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we correct it rather than delete it. If an error was significant — a wrong character limit, for example — we note on the page that it was corrected and when.
To report an error, email muntaqimraza0786@gmail.com with the page and what you believe is wrong. We aim to review corrections within two business days.
Advertising Does Not Influence Content
This site earns money through display advertising. Advertisers have no input into what we publish, how tools behave, or which platforms we cover. We do not accept payment to review a product favourably, and we do not publish sponsored posts or paid links.
Ads are placed around content, never inside a tool where they would interfere with its use.
Use of AI
We use AI tools to assist with drafting, outlining and code review, in the same way a writer uses a spell checker or a developer uses an IDE. Nothing is published without a human researching the facts, verifying the numbers and editing the text. Responsibility for everything on this site rests with the author, not with any tool used along the way.
Independence
charactercounthub.com is independently owned and operated. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Google, or X. Platform names are used only to describe which service a tool is for.
